We Interrupt this blog to bring you

Geek Chic Cosmetic's new Farscape-themed eye shadow collection.  Called "Scapers," it is an eight (8) shadow, one (1) glitter set that has me wanting to play dress-up!

Check out this tutorial by Phyrra. Whether you're as composed as a Delvian Pa'u or as brassy as a Nebari rebel, these colors are sure to resonate on a personal level. Head on over to Geek Chic Cosmetics to see the whole Scapers collection.

Oh Sweet Mercy!  They have eye shadow collections inspired by Doctor Who called Timey Wimey and Firefly called Big Damn Heroes. There is even a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-inspired collection.  Name your geek-chic guilty pleasure, I'm betting they've got you covered.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled tatting.

  1. Thank you for the interuption! I not only love the collection names but the names of the individual items! "Captain Tightpants"! (also known as Captain No-pants? hehehehe!) I'm going to have to pass this on to my daughters.

  2. Being that I was a beauty blogger long before I blogged anything about tatting, I feel the need to say something about Geek Chick.

To put it bluntly, their practices are questionable. The Doctor Who collection actually ripped off a color suggestion, name and all, from the facebook page of another company. Their Firefly collection magically came out after other people were discussing such a collection (I was one of them).

Oh, and they had a lipgloss whose name was a rape reference, and when people started to complain they released a statement saying they refused to change the name and people were getting offended over nothing.

Your heart was in the right place, so I can't fault you. :) But I'd urge anyone to do their research before buying from them.
