#652 Royal Blue and Flora #238 Navy Blue.
The latest addition to my 25 Motif Challenge is a test tat of tattrldy's Elcie motif. Didn't it turn out well?
I loved tatting this. The pattern was easy to memorize and fun to the final stitch. And it makes a lovely mat.
Elcie measures an even 3 by 3 inches (7.6 by 7.6 cm). Three shades of blue give it a tranquil air. Adding this classy little square to my 25 Motif Challenge will bring my total up to 19.
Beautiful! I love the shades of blue!
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful. The different blues really enhance the shape. Lovely work - both the tatter's and the designer's.

Elcie is lovely. You did a great job.
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful. Immediately it crossed my mind when I opend your blog: it looks like "Delfts blauw". Delft is the Dutch city of the china industry and all shades of blue are being used as decoration, very similar to your Elcie! Very nice!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! These colours blend together so well.
ReplyDeleteI like how you combined the different shades of blue in Elcie. Awesome motif!
ReplyDeleteIt's a wonderful design, and your color combination really makes it special.
